Re Safari v80, MFI comments on 10 June:
"There is a purportedly leaked Safari beta making its rounds on underground file sharing networks and some Web sites.
The new version comes complete with an installer, and apparently once you've installed it you can no longer use Safari v74 (the last authorized release) or earlier. This is consistent with previous Apple iApp releases, such as iTunes.
Problems arise when users find lost functionality or bugs with the unauthorized release, and are then unable to downgrade. One MacFixIt reader reports losing all of bookmarks while using this "update", and not being able to use the official release (v74) afterwards.
Bottom line: Steer clear of this unauthorized "v80" copy until Apple makes an official release. Uninstall Process: The following process should work for reverting to Safari v74 if you installed the unauthorized v80 release:
1. Login as the root user
2. Trash Safari and the WebKit.framework (use the Find function to locate it)
3. Copy the Foundation.framework (again, use the Find function) from another Mac.
4. Re-apply the Mac OS X 10.2.6 combo update.
5. Reboot, reset your preferences and reinstall Safari 74"

I think I'll wait for the official release.
