On my old Samsung phone, there was a tiny hole in the case where you could put a tethering strap in. It had a connector, so you could easily unhook it. But I left mine on all the time.
Why? Because I did not want to drop my phone! And I could carry it around my neck if I had no pockets at the time.
I have come very very close to dropping my iPhone when taking it out of my pocket or picking it up off the kitchen counter, so was thinking that a tether for it would save a lot of injured phones.
I read a forum on what to do with a dropped or wet iPhone, and it seems that lots and lots of people have dropped their iPhones, several into the toilet, ick.
My waterproof case has a tether on it, but I only use that case when we are kayaking.
Any ideas? Not receptive to my husband's idea of drilling a tiny hole in my case. Though this might be the answer.
