Another reason not to buy WD Passport external drives

No SATA interface...no thanks! Not that I ever buy pre-assembled external drives anyway - I rarely keep the same drive in an enclosure for more than a year or two it seems; I'm always swapping things around and getting larger capacity drives.

Yeah, read that and couldn't help but comment about buying any 'brand name' box is pretty much always a 'surprise!' rolleyes.gif You really have no idea what's inside! eek2.gif I thought about saying it was like buying a pig in a poke, but decided the audience might be too young to know what that meant! rofl.gif

Ironically, it seems to me that anyone smart enough to know Ted of would be smart enough to build their own external drive. dntknw.gif
