Methinks I would be seriously worried if my government's most important issue of the day was whether or not a very silly Apple iPhone app insulted my country. YIKES. Who elects these completely humorless idiots? Oh yes...now I remember...  Devilish2.gif  As one poster responded, one tends to get the government one deserves!

I do hope they now realize that if they'd said not a peep about it, the silly (and completely useless) little app would have no doubt quietly faded away.

Next up? All those web sites that come up when you Google "Italian jokes"?? That should keep them busy for a while. toothgrin.gif

QUOTE
"Italy is a beacon in the world for its history, culture and style..." [emphasis added].
Oh yes, "Style" being the most important aspect of any civilized culture. rolleyes.gif But I'm proud the lady could come up with three different achievements. One would think that if the government is so concerned about the organized crime in their country, there would be tremendous resources being used to erase it. OTOH, leaving them in pace assures a certain amount of control at practically no cost to the government. Who would you rather give 'protection/tax' money to, the government (known for inefficiency) or a closely knit family with well defined limits? laughhard.gif

Hope his is not too 'political!' eek2.gif Maybe Ms. Brambilla just didn't get her two hour, mid-day siesta the day she saw the app?
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
