Using Itunes 2.0.4 whith OS 9.2.2
(All the mp3 files are on a folder , alias are created when i drag them to Itunes )
Today everything is empty,
i know it's possible to redrag them but it takes a long time and if i chopse the entire folder the mac freeze
Is there something else to do to get them back?

Have no idea what options are available in that old version of iTunes, but look for a selection that may allow you to Rebuild the Library.
Other possibility is to import them through File in the menu. That may make a better path for iTunes to follow. You may be able to select bunches in the window by using the old shift key selection method, or the command + click to select unattached items.
Just guessing here since it's been so long that I've used 9 that I don't remember what you can do in that OS.

Hey, ADSR,
If you have OS X 10, why not use it?
It probably could save you a LOT of grief, and the support here would probably be better since most of us are on some flavor of X.
And it's a lot better than 9 IMHO.
Just a thought,
Jack
