Have no idea what options are available in that old version of iTunes, but look for a selection that may allow you to Rebuild the Library.

Other possibility is to import them through File in the menu. That may make a better path for iTunes to follow. You may be able to select bunches in the window by using the old shift key selection method, or the command + click to select unattached items.

Just guessing here since it's been so long that I've used 9 that I don't remember what you can do in that OS.  Thinking.gif

Hey, ADSR,

If you have OS X 10, why not use it?

It probably could save you a LOT of grief, and the support here would probably be better since most of us are on some flavor of X.

And it's a lot better than 9 IMHO.

Just a thought,

Jack
