This guy built his own SLR camera body!

This isn't really "community" and it is almost not "tech" in the sense that we're talking  not about computers but wheels and other mechanical parts but this man in France has machined his own SLR camera that would work with the lens he already had:

This makes the things I do with MAC's look pale in comparison!

So that's what the French do with their guaranteed 5 weeks of paid vacation...  rolleyes.gif

Actually, at 500 hours of labor, it would be a rather expensive camera.
