For those who may be afflicted with Norton and wish to be cured, read Removing all Symantec programs for Macintosh by using the RemoveSymantecMacFiles removal utility or this support page. Hopefully, some of this works but, after all, this is Symantec.

Ditto all negative comments about Norton after system 9.

That removal tool that they offer works through the Terminal. Not sure I'd trust Norton to have that much control over my Mac.  dry.gif
