They may be able to save the home. Yippee! Since they are in a park, they will move it to another lot - one that actually has soil on it.
We had sunshine today and that was wonderful. Shoveling the sand is a never ending project when you live in Bayshore. The home owners association owns 2 small bobcat units and they use them all year long. Our friends said trying to sleep was like sleeping in a car wash. HAHAHA!
As to shoveling snow vs sand, isn't it all relative? I feel for those of you who are digging out from snow storms. I did that for a lot of years and it's no picnic either.
A pal sent me some pictures, and I don't think this one was in that article. It's my favorite photo - partly because when we lived down there this particular house was always fantastically creepy since the owners were only there for Christmas and 2 wks. in the summer and it was always sand-bound -- but not like this:
