The quirky banner
« on: August 21, 2011, 01:22:41 PM »
I couldn't figure out why Sneakers wub.gif would do a banner of a hole with moss on the side. tongue.gif So, I asked him for the big picture and he obliged. Thought others might be wondering as well. This was taken on the 804 Trail at Smelt Sands state park in Yachats, Oregon. Here's the BIG picture (click the thumbnail to see it in all its glory.)

Yeah, the shape of the banner makes for some very difficult 'translations' of the original artwork. smile.gif It's also fun trying to find a suitable I'm age for a CD/DVD...something that looks good with a hole in its center! eek2.gif

It took me a few minutes (having nothing pressing to do) to figure out what the banner was showing. I decided it was implying that there are some dangerous, slippery areas around our computers that might lead to us falling into the nether land of problems! "Never fear, we have trained 'spelunkers' here that will offer a speedy rescue!" ...or sum thin like that... laughhard.gif The great thing is taking pictures and seeing new things in them afterward! clap.gif Tell him to keep up the good work! wink.gif

The banner reminded me of the movie '127 Hours' (shudder).

My first take / thought was "Why a picture of road kill?"

My apologies to mom nature and Sneekers, should have known better.

Are you suggesting that there is something wrong with "roadkill?!" If you live where there is little electricity, the need to store food for long periods is greatly enhanced by 'drying' it. So, there! "One man's trash is another man's job." Or something' like that...
