These people with their crass comments on Steve's battle with cancer make my blood boil.
No one asks for this disease. No one "does" anything that "gives" them this disease. It happens because your body rebels over something and that's that. It took me a while to get past the "It's my fault" when I was diagnosed, and I still have days that I wonder "what if"; but I'm fortunate because my family and friends never said to my face (or printed on the net) any accusations, or stoooopid comments about how I had the wrong perspective when I was diagnosed and then chose my treatment and life style path. Honestly. These folks should be hung up by their thumbs for a while.
edited to add: BTW, my rant isn't directed at anyone here. I'm ranting at a few of the folks quoted in that article -- and much of it is laughable.
