Anyone want to help me?
« on: October 05, 2011, 05:04:35 PM »
AppSumo is giving away 10 people a 50GB account at DropBox for life! I only have 6.75GB there, right now. All you need to do is click this link <http://appsumo.com/~LRCm> and it gives me another chance to win. I'm not sure what I can do in return, should your click make me a winner, but I'll be thankful for the rest of my life or until DropBox folds, whichever comes first. thanx.gif

Thanks, ma'am!

BTW, I'll be glad to click anyone else who is on the AppSumo list. It's the least I can do and I always do the least I can. yes.gif blush-anim-cl.gif

Done, likewise.

All you have to do is send back some of those autographed $20 bills you've demanded from me over the past decade plus.

Not sure [why] really.

Yes, it will ask you for an email address. I think one reason is to be assured that the AppSumo 'member' is not 'cheating.' They may also send you an invitation to join the group. That is the reason I suggested using an email alias. My mistake, even though I meant to include that in my OP, I obviously failed to do so! blush-anim-cl.gif Using an alias helps to know when that specific address has been sold/traded/stolen because you usually know who you gave it to. But it is also easy to delete/change and block any more emails to it. Most ISP's provide at least five free alias' and I would encourage everyone use as many as they have available. Never use your main address for anything but your "friends" who also run AV software on their Windows machines. rolleyes.gif

Not sure why there were 16 emails from them in that box this morning; I assigned them to SPAM!

Fine by me. I get one a day from them myself. Most get deleted immediately since their deal expires within 48 hours, anyway. I've even though of unsubscribing. I may do that after I win the 50GB!!! laughhard.gif   I guess I have a "price" after all. blush-anim-cl.gif
