Dan, I think Panther keeps a
copy of your iDisk on your HD. So, if you save stuff to your iDisk, you can do it locally, without connecting, and then when you do connect, iDisk will automatically sync the local iDisk with your .mac iDisk. I don't really see any advantage to this for those with high speed connections. Perhaps if more than one user is using the same iDisk and you want to keep everything synchronized, it would be useful. But who knows. I've never found any use for it. 100 MB...even 200 MB wouldn't do very much for me!
