The new Apple iPad, which sports a higher-resolution screen, a 1080p HD camera and LTE network capability, will likely entice millions of buyers -- but it could bog down corporate networks and give IT managers headaches.

We already have to disallow streaming media when we do state testing (currently) and I can't imagine how much bandwidth we would need if we had a bunch of iPad HD's!

There is no such animal as an "iPad HD." wink.gif At least not yet. I wonder how long it will be before Apple succumbs to the pressure of all the numerous names that are being created for them. laughhard.gif

To avoid the massive data needs, just buy one of the "unrestricted" plans...oh, wait, there are restrictions on those... Maybe we just need a new dictionary definition of "un!" laughhard.gif

School districts can't afford to do this stuff; I can't either myself!
