If you are using Lion and haven't installed Java, you won't be bothered by this. Apple no longer installs Java on its OSs. But, if you're running an earlier OS or installed Java because you need it for some app, you might want to check to see if it's installed any files. There are the there commands to run in Terminal; one for Safari, one for Firefox and one for general file checking. If you
do not have the TH, you will get a simple "
The domain/default pair of (one of the domains, DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES) does not exist" You can then resume your Mac use without worries, again.
If you have a
DIFFERENT response from Terminal, you can check the <
F-Secure site> for steps to take.
Here are the commands to copy and paste into Terminal (I copied them from Terminal after using them, BTW):
defaults read ~/.MacOSX/environment DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES
defaults read /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/Info DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES
defaults read /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/Info DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES
