Someone must have read the text and had second thoughts about how the "mandatory" part could be enforced! smile.gif

THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
CAUTION! Childhood vaccinations cause adults!

Er...not sure what that nice little vid about ultra-lights that you linked to had to do with the topic, Jim! wink.gif

Perhaps this was what you had in line? http://us.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/d...tore-gps-signal

Yeah - I guess THAT kinda forces you to update, doesn't it? Basically, update or the unit goes on strike.

XABD, I pulled the link as it was to the vid you have up in Community. Just edit your post and put in the correct link and remove my note.

A bit off topic, but a FWIW. offtopic.gif   On a recent trip to Chicago my world traveling better half with her ever present  handy dandy Tom Tom XL100 ( I think it is) fired up and providing directions from O'Hare" to a hotel in downtown Chgo when the Tom Tom had an insanity attack. It  just went crazy. Apparently the combination of the tall buildings, bad weather, and the  signaling info emanating from the trains traveling the "loop" made downtown Chicago and Tom mutually exclusive. blink.gif

It was the middle of winter, raining, dark and  rush hour. Suffice to say "unhappy camper" would be a gross understatement.  How she finally managed to get to the hotel is another chapter. wallbash.gif

Daryl, that model isn't one of the listed at the link but there is a "Via 100" model there. I'm sure your navigation experienced and the training you gave her was what enabled her to eventually find the hotel? Yeah, RIGHT! scram.gif
GPS receivers don't like not having a clear view of the sky, at least enough to see two or more satellites at once. I'd suggest to the Chicago City Fathers that they lower all the building to no higher than 10 feet above ground level. That should provide plenty of sky space! laughhard.gif
