I have DL a bunch of the latest updates for OS X for my backup beige G3, as it was getting late I decided that I would "unpack' them this morning, the thing is where do I look for them?.
Using finder all I can see is receipts for the applications which it tells me that although they look like packages to be opened they are only receipts wallbash.gif where do I find the elusive downloads?
George.

Hi George,

Good question for Netscape 7.  I couldn't find an option in preferences for download location.  Usually, it asks where do you want to save it when the download is done.  I'd guess to open the download manager and see if it gives a hint.

Safari, open preferences, go to general preferences, there will be an option for save downloaded file, which will give the location where all downloaded files will go to.

In Internet Explorer, go to preferences>recieving files>download options>download folder.  That will tell you where IE is storing your downloaded files.

Each browser handles their downloads just a little differently.  What browser are you using?

I'm told that happens more often as you get older.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.
