iTunes to CD
« on: February 17, 2013, 09:03:46 PM »
When I burn an iTunes playlist to CD, it will play on my computer but not on any CD player in house or car.

What am I missing?

Thanks
Joe

Have you got Audio CD checked in Burn Settings?

Thanks, Highmac!

I would follow your advice if I could find "Burn Settings." Where is it?

First, I assume you are not using a RW-CDR. Most CD players don't like those for music.

What version of iTunes are you using?
I've always (I think) got the 'settings' dialog every single time I ask it to burn a CD.
The only time I don't get that dialog is if I burn a CD from Finder.

And the United States = The Banana system

GOT IT !

What I did not know was that I needed to:
1. Create a playlist
2. Open that playlist
3. Then burn to CD (I had been burning from Finder.)

Sincere thanks to both of you.
