I've seen this video before, perhaps most of you have, also. Still, it reminds me that those we expect to protect us, help us, teach our kids are the very ones who we often pay the least, remember the least and thank the least?

Why is that? I'm hoping we all remember more of those who serve, protect and teach. Some are overseas, most are actually our neighbors.

Made a batch of my Great-Great-Grandmother's Spice cookies just a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, I didn't hide them well enough. rolleyes.gif

A good reminder that we usually don't know what influence we have had on someone else and ultimately, the world.
