Typinator 5.8 update available

<Typinator 5.8 update> If you don't have a text-expander 'macro' app, I highly recommend Typinator. It's particularly easy to use and totally stable with many supplementary 'dictionaries from places like TidBITS. Like many developers, if you buy this version, you get free upgrades to version 6 and updates to it, also. thumbup.gif

A cursory look around their website fails to reveal price....  I hate that!!  It appears you have to put it in a shopping cart before anything is revealed.  I don't buy stuff that doesn't show prices upfront....  I must have missed something???

The linked page was for upgrading, my bad. Even worse, simply visiting the link automatically downloads the app. I'll change that to the 'regular' downloads page. All their apps have an evaluation mode, of course.

The email notice mentioned the €14.99 price. But you should have got that email if you already have a license. But the "Store" link on their site lists all their products, clicking Typinator shows a page with Single and Family Pack (5 computers) license pricing: €24.99 and €37.99, respectively.

As for not revealing prices upfront, I do find that inconvenient and fairly rare. But I refuse to provide personal info just to see the price. Seems like just a way to build mailing/emailing lists! inspect.gif

I have no problem putting something into a "shopping cart" to find out a price...as it is generally quite simple, once the price has been divulged, to empty the shopping cart, and go on about your business.  I agree that being 'up front' about the price would be nice..but not all do business in the same way.  "Different strokes for different folks"!!
