Customer finds delivery stuck on roof of house

Another paper suggested the customer was more amused than annoyed, quoting him:
QUOTE
Mr Ward said: “I approached the house, looked up and saw it there. Then got inside to see the card! I just laughed! I shared it on Twitter expecting a few retweets and it just went crazy.”

MyHermes apologised to him, saying: “Your local courier is currently on his way back to your address with a ladder.”

I've yet to find a report that explains why it was on the roof.

Nope! laughhard.gif Most of our 'wayward' packages are simply thrown over a tall fence. Those delivery guys are too lazy to throw something as high as a roof! rolleyes.gif Maybe MyHermes is trying t get into the "air-delivery" side of the package delivery business? eek2.gif
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system

It is VERY IMPORTANT, if you have a fragile item, to mark the package "Fragile! Throw underhand".   wallbash.gif

Maybe they were beta-testing a deliver-by-drone system and it went awry?
