Had lunch with a PC using friend today. Wouldn't have eaten with him but he also has a new iPad!
He wanted to know if I knew of any iPad apps (preferably
free ) that could capture a webinar he planned to watch on the iPad in a few days. There are several apps that can capture videos you have loaded onto an iPad or that were recorded on it. Many even allow capturing single frames from said video. But I think the 'one app on screen at a time' philosophy makes capturing a webinar virtually and actually impossible.
I've asked him him he absolutely
must use the iPad for the webinar; it may be that he has to be some place other than his house.
It would be almost trivial to record a webinar on a
real computer with multiple apps visible at the same time, of course. And that video could be loaded onto the iPad, but I suspect that method is not available to him, in this case. Since he's a friend, he may be planning on watching the webinar while in a cell...
Thanks for any help or experience info.
There is a long discussion/debate about this on the Apple forums.
- it's all beta stuff.
