Downgrading from iOS 8 to iOS 7.1.2
« on: September 30, 2014, 09:31:59 AM »
Apparently some folks (not me) have already needed/desired to downgrade their iOS 8 device to 7.1.2 because certain apps
wouldn' work.  There is a set of instructions for doing this here:

http://www.maketecheasier.com/downgrade-fr...mpaign=30092014

I obviously haven't done this so please post comments if there is something flawed about what they've written!

There appears to be a carriage return or kine break character between the "...certain apps" and the strangely spelt "wouldn' work...". Other than those two items, I don't see any problems. You're welcome! inspect.gif complain.gif cheer2.gif tomato.gif scram.gif

I was a little surprised to see technical info on such a "cheasier" than most sites... Groaner.gif superstition.gif

I'm still amazed that so many people seem to have such a limited concept of how "apps" are made and their relationship to the OS. There is still a huge number of people who believe in magic, apparently... rolleyes.gif
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system

You can only blame the great one for the confusion!
