GraphicConverter?

Do any of you still use GraphicConverter?

I haven't used it for a long time... so it would be a whole learning process over again... but I have to do something about the corrupted icon previews on my computer. Any file I used an app called "icon2image" to generate an icon for now has a very blurry, pixelated icon. Cutting the icon and letting the OS generate a preview helps but? I miss the nice big clear ones.

A "LOT" of these files are old image files I created myself and I don't want to lose them so that's another concern. It would be a lot of work but I've considered taking them all into PhotoShopCS6 and generating a new .png file and stashing the old ones... I dunno...  dntknw.gif

OS info still:

MacBook Pro Retina
OS 10.8.5

Please just holler if I missed something... I need to work it into my profile... I know... I will once I clear my brain of too many other things at the moment... this icon thing right now is a bit of a PITA but it bugs me everytime I look at something affected by it.  thanx.gif

Actually, now that I've "fixed" one folder full of stuff just by cutting the old icon and letting the OS generate a new preview... they look not too bad if viewed in Cover Flow... maybe that's a good way to go? Instead of risking another app getting messed up in the future? Duh!
