Pricing now matches Amazon and a few others. They dropped the 500GB level, however. I just don't use the "cloud" for many kinds of serious backups. However, they
should be* more reliable than local Hds since they
should be* making automatic recovery and multiple hardware devices. Speed will always be dependent on your local connection. Access will always be dependent on your local connection. You can buy a lot of HD for $240 (1 year of 1 TB at iCloud) and have much faster access speeds, but when the HD fails, the speed
will drop significantly!
