1. What printer?
2. What kind of connection?
3. Have its drivers been updated?
4. Have you tried deleting it from System Prefs->Printers and then reinstalling it?
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system

Check for printer drivers at Epson, France. Step 4 is a good idea and it only takes a few minutes.

As long as you don't have to do that daily... Thinking.gif

It could indicate a pending USB port or card failure. Maybe a USB cable with some failing wires.

Does the computer run 24/7 or does it shutdown/restart daily?

Any USB printer cable will do. Like this: https://www.amazon.fr/Transfert-Données-Imp...eywords=printer

I have no idea if you have "dollar" stores over there - but if you do, you should be able to get one there. No need for anything special - the high priced ones are usually a complete rip-off, as are many of the big "brand" names.
