Fake Eyeballs Worrying Advertisers
« on: December 07, 2016, 05:04:51 PM »
Most of us are extremely bothered by the numerous fake "news" sites on the web. Apparently, at least one such site is calling for us (consumers) to boycott Kellog's, at least their Frosted Flakes. Here's a link to the story: <For Advertisers, Fake Eyeballs May Be Bigger Problem Than Fake News, NPR, All Tech Considered, Dec. 2, 2016>

I'm not concerned about fewer boxes of Frosted Flakes being sold. Perhaps this "fake" part of the interweb will now get some needed scrutiny. In my opinion, fake "news" is much worse than SPAM, it's actually a SCAM!
