Which Mac
« on: April 01, 2018, 06:36:45 AM »
I have a MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2013).

If I bought a new one - would my printer HP Colour Laserjet 2600n and scanner HP Desktop 3060 still work with it, through the USB ports, or would I need an adaptor to thunderbolt like usb to thunderbolt adapter.

Is there any sense in buying a 15 inch screen - would it improve my vision? I get floaters in my eyes these days.

I am looking at all the models, and think it would be better to have 512GB SSD as i get warnings everyday that i am down to my last 20GB.

However I do not use Final Cut, Logic Pro X or Lightroom - I just use business software.

Maybe I should just upgrade to the lastest Macbook Air? Or should I take a Macbookpro?

Please advise.

First, what are your main uses of the Mac?

Second, how much RAM in the Air?
What size is it's storage (I'm assuming it's also an SSD).

Do you have any external drives?
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
CAUTION! Childhood vaccinations cause adults!

Mainly use for business - Word, Excel, Browsing, Flash storage 22.53GB available of 250.79 GB

Ram I have at present is 4GB - it's not enough as at times I have crashes when Microsoft is open

Yes one passport external drive - not used often

Thanks!

As you may know, a failure to have a bootable and complete back is a failure discovered too late. I can guarantee that the file you will need most is the one that’s not on your backups and there will probably be a deadline involved! Before you do anything else, stop and make a bootable backup and then make sure it works. That may be different on an Air, but do it and please report back. THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOL JOKE!!!
