Something happened to this new software
« on: June 25, 2018, 08:15:14 PM »
Not sure what is going on, I cant see the topic we were talking about.
I had just gotten a very interesting link from Paddy, but for some reason, the new software has stopped.
Perhaps the 'notify me of replies' is the issue, I thought I had checked it, but it wasn't when I looked again?

Anybody have an idea what I did wrong to make this stop working?

Emptying caches is always the first step. Enable the Develop menu (Safari prefs->Adavanced:checkbox at bottom of window). Look in the Safari menu and you should see a new item: Develop. About in the middle of that menu is the “Empty caches” item. That item (Option-Command-E, I think) will force Safari to download the page and any other needed files anew, instead of using the ones in that pages cache.

Someone locked Jane's thread. Suspect that it was an inadvertent button press by one of us... (Jane - you didn't do it - it had to be one of the admins).

Fixed now. No worries. Carry on. :)
