This (post #45) to be a duplicate of your last post (#44) except that it is a quotation of entire post ($44). If you meant to edit the previous post, you can do that without duplicating it with a quotation. If you did not mean to edit your previous post, I will assume it can be deleted to save space and pages on this topic. You may be able to delete your own posts, if not, an admin will be happy to do that for you with your "OK to delete the duplicate" reply here of via PM. :salute:

Now Jim... just hold off on that for a bit there... it turned into a quote when I edited it to include the last bit:
"OH... I did boot into Recovery Mode and ran the Hardware Test. It all passed... all OK. The Test says that if your hardware is OK then it's software and I can see that. I have disconnected the external right now... later I'll reconnect it and run the test again."  :whoosh:
My only sad excuse for myself is that it was very late, (or very early, depending on how you see it), and it just was beyond the by poor battered brain at the time... I shall try to fix it to look better now!
Should I have a problem I promise to promptly send you a message for help!...  :sos:

All you need to do when you want to edit a post is to click the “modify” button. It would be better named as “Edit”, IMHO, but I’ve never been very successful at changing the world... :laughhard:

You can still do that editing on your original post. :Look:

 Uuuhh... well maybe I did it backwards but IMO it works... I used "modify" on this post to edit out the original post stuff and left just the the part I added to the original post. Of course I could modify the original post to add this post and delete this post. I'll do that...  Please don't get anymore confusing!

I didn't think it belonged here as a separate issue but I thought it related enough to mention here...  :)
