I updated to 10.14.4 via the
Combo Updater
. So far, the only change that I have noticed is that the background color of the Dock is gray instead of blue (and I recall that that was its color in High Sierra).

Mine is already grey (light gray). "Still" on
Mojave
macOS 10.14.

. Seems to be exactly the same color as an
active
window's Title bar.
This is the standard 'day' Appearance,
not
the foreboding, Dark mode, BTW.

I also have a very light grey translucent dock, but I've not yet upgraded so maybe that's speaking when I shouldn't.
