Sneakers and I were "on the web" way back in the days when you had to log in to private servers. No icons, no photos, just code and text.

Well, that certainly takes me back...my hubby had a NeXT as a prof at Oregon State and I do remember that browser, and Mosaic. He was very excited about the "world wide web" and dragged me down to check it out. At the time, I found it frustrating - search engines were pretty lame back then, and trying to find something specific could be a frustrating experience. Of course, within a couple of years, AltaVista and Netscape changed everything...
