Apparently, the macOS 14.6 Supplemental Update had a previously patch security problem re-introduced. :wallbash: So be sure you use the current/latest 14.6 Supplemental update. I think you'll also need the 14.6.1 update, but the 14.6 (Supplemental) Supplemental [r.2] you get through Software Update should already include that.

Same security problem was in the last OS updates all other devices. Latest mobile updates are: iOS 12.4.1, watchOS 5.3.1 and tvOS 12.4.1.

Thanks for posting that update. I had not known about it and Software Update had not yet notified me, so I manually launched SU and installed it, apparently without incident.
