iChat uses the AIM protocal, so they could just use that if they want to instant message folks. However, iChat itself is Jaguar only. I highly doubt Apple would ever make a PC version of iChat, as the iApps are a big selling point for Macs. Of course, iTunes will be on the darkside, but that's in an effort to squeeze some money from those folks.
