How often do you clear cache and/or delete history on your computer or browser?

Just wondering!  I've been remiss as the garden beckons.
Here are sweetpeas (the flower, not the vegetable) from last week, with a volunteer California poppy.

I only delete caches if there is some problem that suggests that it might be necessary (and that is so rare that I don't remember the last time I did it). I never delete history because I don't want to lose it.

Don't worry about that, Jon, history has a habit of repeating itself. :coolio: Even in my "garden"! Every Spring, the weeds bloom before the "flowers". :doh: As for the browsers, I follow the 'if-it-ain't-broke-don't-"fix"-it' rule. :)

Like Jon and Jim, only if I have a problem which requires it. So far that is once in more years then I can remember -- and it didn't help.  :dntknw: :eek:

A good reason to NOT clear caches (unless called for, of course) is that you lose all your site icons. They will regenerate as you visit those sites, but I find them handy.

The purpose of the cache is to allow you to go back to a page/tab without actually having to RE-download the whole file. That can make things a bit faster if you have a slow interweb.

Be Smart, Keep Apart... as long as the experts say that's important. :Thinking:
