I know nothing about this app, but see if anything on this help page is of use.

You can generally get out of any program with the "Force Quit..." command in the Apple Menu. If that menu is not available because the app has taken over the screen, you can try command-option-power button. If that doesn't work, just hold the power button button for a few seconds to manually shut down the machine. NOTE: Any unsaved work will be lost, in this case. Wait a few seconds after Shutdown is complete and try a 'cold' startup. Please let us know what happens then.

You can usually simply move any app or an app's files to the Trash and then empty the Trash. I assume you downloaded Zoom to begin with. You can always re-download it.

PS. Can we change the thread title to something a little less dramatic? :)

THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
CAUTION! Childhood vaccinations cause adults!

Thank you for the advice, which I have now sorted. It would not quit and forced quit didn't work. I used my wife's login and used Clean my Mac and deleted Zoom Rooms. Now it is working again.

Assuming the Air works the same as my MBP, a single "non responsive" app can be dealt with by pressing Alt-Apple-Esc to bring up a window listing active apps. The culprit will be marked "not responding", with a "Force Quit" button at the bottom. That means you don't have to shut down other apps or the computer itself (though you will still lose any changes on the errant app).

It also means you can deactivate apps you had forgotten were working away in the background... which is what I'm about to do...  :whistling:
