new malware in the wild
« on: June 18, 2020, 01:05:24 PM »
New Mac malware uses 'novel' tactic to bypass macOS Catalina security Since this malware can be downloaded via a Google search, I'm doubly glad that I use DuckDuckGo instead (although I don't know if DDG is susceptible as well).

My thoughts also. While it sounds like it's a 'highjacked' Google link, I don't see any reason it couldn't end up in any search engine. It might take longer to reach DDG, as it probably has fewer bots running around. Hopefully Google will help by destroying the link in their own DB.
