tortoise longevity

My wife and I were caregivers to a tortoise (Snoozy) after his owner was no longer able to furnish the space that he needed. We had him for several years and he finally died at about the age of 90. That's remarkable, but not nearly as remarkable as Jonathan. The world’s oldest living land animal? At age 190, it’s Jonathan the tortoise. My name is also Jonathan, and I hope that that means something for my longevity!  :D

My wife and I just celebrated our 54th. She claims that it feels more like 154.    :blink:
