Yeah, I've wasted 30 minutes on it. Got over 500, twice! My ten-year-old granddaughter thinks it's a hoot.                               laugh.gif

Funny... that's the same game I played the other day only it's been modified slightly. The overall image is larger on this version and...

The first game, I couldn't hit the penguin more than +/-360ft.. This newer game, it's easy to get over 400ft.

Was tipped off by Bruce the other noght about this game.  spent a good hour swinging away at the penquin.  This one does go farther than the one I played before.

496 no bounce

589 bouncy bouncy bouncy.....

Why is it these flash games don't play in Safari.  Plays fine with IE.

Enjoyed a relaxing 20 minutes playing the game, but I had to view it in Internet Explorer as Safari would not successfully open the link.  huh.gif

Same thing happened with jepinto's "I'm easily amused" thread.  I have looked throughout preferences and can find no setting amiss.

I would be grateful if someone could solve my dilemma.  I'm assuming others are successful with Safari.   thanx.gif  in advance.

Dave. You should have Shockwave Flash 6.0 r29 installed. smile.gif

Go to Safari > Help > Installed Plug-ins.

Safari Beta: Plug-in Included With Safari

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=42949

Try Safari > Preferences > Security > Enable Plug-ins  smile.gif

Safari will work but you have to use a workaround. Click and Drag on any Flash game link, like the one posted above. Drop it on the desktop. Now drag that file back onto an open Safari window.

Sometimes you'll get a blank page with Go To This Address in the URL window. If you do, drag the file over once more. This time the Flash file will run.

I have attempted to tell the Safari developers about this goober, but it's hard to tell whether they heard me or not.

The only problem I've had using Safari is that I can't stop playing the darn game! wallbash.gif Otherwise, it works fine for me!  biggrin.gif

A couple of IMacs, an iPad, a bunch of iPhones...two of which don’t live here, but I still pay for. Oh yeah, wife, daughters, and yes—a grandson!

kelly, Have Shockwave 7.0 r1.9 installed and plug-ins enabled but the link will still not successfully load.

Used Bruce_F's work around.  Having again been presented with a blank page with Go To This Address in the URL window, I dragged the file from the desktop to the blank page and the game loaded straight-away.  biggrin.gif
