MacDraw Pro on a G4 running Ja/Classic?
« on: August 12, 2003, 04:26:02 PM »
I seem to recall that recently there was a TS thread in which the title of this thread was a kindof sidebar to the main discussion therein.

Does anyone remember this or more importantly have any experience with running a real legacy app on Classic?

I surely would appreciate some advice as to the likelihood MacDrawPro would work, w/o masticating my hard drive in the process.

Note for TS Husbands . . . only

Life being what it is, I have just been encouraged by my spouse to "try it anyway".

It is her G4, after all, and she wants to access her old MacDraw files . . . N-O-W!

Get the picture?

So I did.

Holy Ned, it works . . . It's Alive . . . in a manner of speaking.

So whoever left whatever that note was, whenever he/she  left it, thanks. I never would have thought it "safe" to try such an ancient app w/9.2.2, but we're "eating the pudding" right now, so to speak.

Thank you, Cuperrtino.
