digital pictures of Lake Tahoe area
« on: August 24, 2003, 07:04:16 PM »
We finally bought a digital camera (Nikon 4300) and Richard has been busily  taking pictures ever since.  The computer work falls to me but iPhoto is very easy and fun to use.  We just returned from our summer vacation at Lake Tahoe, California and Nevada and I have posted some pictures of Lake Tahoe and thee surrounding area on my dotmac web page.

Any  helpful comments will be greatlt appreciated as we're both newbies in digital photography.

Margie,

Richard takes beautiful photos!  thumbup.gif  Plenty of "print worthy" compositions in your gallery!

I have never seen Lake Tahoe up close. It sure is clear!

Beautiful!
Do not fear your enemies.  The worse they can do is kill you.  Do not fear friends.  At worst, they may betray you.
Fear those who do not care; they neither kill nor betray, but betrayal and murder exist because of their silent consent.

So if I say, saved a couple of those for my personal use, would I have to put your name on it with a copyright symbol to make it my desktop picture?  tongue.gif

I love the one of Vista Point and Emerald Bay.

MAN, that water is clear.

It's absolutely gorgeous.

Great job, magpie.  wink.gif

Take care.

Chris, I'm flattered.  Use what you like at any time.  By the way, I didn't take any of the pictures; my husband took all of them.  I just posted them to iPhoto. Each photo, however, is a precious memory.  Now I must learn to use Photoshop -- no simple matter.

I love my mac!
