AppleWorks crashing
« on: March 01, 2003, 08:45:00 AM »
I have the latest version for OS X (6.2.4) but I can't even open it.  AppleWorks keeps crashing.  I went into the Preferences and threw away the AppleWorks folder and the com.apple.appleworks file, but it hasn't helped.

Do you have an older version from AppleWorks on your machine?
A friend had problems with it to, and he had to clean out everything and install the latest one... i think it worked than.
I guess this isn't much to help for you, hope you will find the problem

Thanks, Mrious.  I saw suggested on the Apple support boards that you turn off "recent items" and "auto-saving."  I'm okay for now.
