OS 9 Font called First Grader
« on: October 16, 2003, 11:13:25 AM »
Hi, everyone

A teacher in my school uses a font at home (on her Windows computer) called "First Grader" and she'd like to have something that is at least similar on her eMac.  It's one that looks like a child's handwriting.  I've looked on other computers in the school, but there's nothing too good.  The best is kid print, but I can't find it in the Font folder

Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Dan, That seems to be a TrueType font available at: http://freethemes.tele.net/fonts/fonts/scr...rstgraderdl.htm

Good luck and please let us know how it works (or not) wink.gif

I used to have one called "Dear Teacher". You might try looking for that one.

Thanks to you both.  I'll give it a try in school tomorrow!

Dan,

If it is a truetype Windows font, an application called TTConverter will convert it to a Mac truetype font. Supposedly, there are sometimes problems in which some converted fonts will not work with some printers, but the ones I've tried have always worked fine for me.
