Clickable links in email????
« on: October 20, 2003, 07:30:06 AM »
I am using Eudora email for one account, and Netscape for another.  If I include a link in Eudora, it turns blue, is underlined and can be reached by clicking.  If I include a url in Netscape, it just appears as a typewritten set of words like the rest of the message.  Am I missing something here?  I'm on a G5 1.8, using 10.2.7. huh.gif

What version of Netscape? It works for me. I use 4.8 for e-mail. I think the OS is less relevant, but I'm on 9.2.2 myself.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

Are you sure it's not clickable by the receipent?  Create a link and send it to yourself;  my NS looks like it hasn't created the link, but it has.

Check your mail and newsgroups account setting (under Edit menu) for the account; in the right pane is "compose mail in html format" checked?
Do not fear your enemies.  The worse they can do is kill you.  Do not fear friends.  At worst, they may betray you.
Fear those who do not care; they neither kill nor betray, but betrayal and murder exist because of their silent consent.
