Actually they're a lot uglier than OS 9 labels were. LabelsX from Unsanity is closer to OS9 functionality.

OSX.3's lables remind me too much of Windoze.

I hope unsanity comes out with a fix for OSX.3. I like their OS9 style better. On X.2.8 they work great.

Of course, I can never actually see my desktop - I've got so many programs and windows open usually. And when I do see it, I usually want to run away...it's a mess, which I never quite seem to get around to cleaning up! Hence, I can never quite understand why everyone fusses so much about what their desktop looks like.  biggrin.gif  tongue.gif
