Spyware emails...?\'s

Is this for real or just another hoax for a company to gain access to your computer and sell out your isp as well as your email address to everyone on the net?

Whether this is a hoax, I have no idea.
It takes you to a PC .exe file...    

On spyware, ZDNet ran  this  quite a while back.
One spyware site is OptOut.

Here's a charming outfit which offers a Mac spyware   installer .
I'm happier with a firewall.

It's not a hoax, it's spam.

Most PCs do have Spyware on them. The company that sent youthe email sells a program that removes spyware. They sent out a zillion spam emails because they want money.

If you have a PC, you can get a better spyware-zapper program for free. It's called Ad-Aware, you can get it from http://lavasoft.de (which has links to download mirror sites), and it's completely free.
