Why even mess around with those Puny 80 Gig Drives?

Is that extra card a hassle?
It says the rebate purchase time goes to 4/4.

hingyfan. You know I was joking.

I think unless someone is doing Pro Video work or something it's overkill.

Most people would be happy with the 80 or 120 Gig Drives.

What extra Card?

An IDE Controller?

You should know by now i'm not most people.
The ad says it comes with this:
"Free Ultra ATA Controller Card"
I have no idea what all this is about but i do know it's the same price i was looking at to get the retail version of the 120.
Also, is this a new product, and therefore would be revision 2.
Most people may not be intrigued by idea of having a digital juke box full of aif, not mp3, files. I'd say in that direction, 200g is a good start.

That Controller is like any PCI Card.

Just plug it into a PCI Slot. No big deal.

I don't think that Promise Controller will work with a mac though.

You should call and ask them.

You might need to buy your own.

Something like these.
