7100 components source and more
« on: February 06, 2003, 04:57:00 PM »
By now you all know me as one who resurrects old mac's and I have a hard time coping with a reality that 7 years in technology growth equates to a time-warp to 'over-the-hill'.
None-the-less,  I have some sort of aversion to keep things humming.  Geez, even our 34 year-old GE washing machine works like new.

Anyhow - I was on eBay looking for a 7100 motherboard to retrofit my old Performa 600 with that and a G3 MaxPower CPU when I met not only a great source - but, a great person.
Auction close was $2.00 plus $8.00 ship.

I could not get it to chime and fire up on arrival. After several e-mails my seller sent me another one - gratis !  What a guy.

FYI - check out ebay ID  < tkydone > auctions.  He has a big stock in older mac parts ++

I told him about TS  and hope he gets on board with the gang.  We old duffers could use a guy like him.
