Have a good day.
« on: April 27, 2003, 11:28:00 PM »
Leave early this morning to run up a to the fontana raceway (some 45 miles).
On the way there the radio broadcast that they're now full except for hill top seating. Total congestion. So I decide to pass on that, instead run to the drive-in swapmeet up in Fontana.
Wrong! Way to much traffic congestion due too it being to close to the raceway. <- word for the day=to/too/two. <gr>

Turn around and head back towards home. Gas is less expensive up in fontana and my game plan was to fill up the tank there. Forgot. Sputter-spit-sputter. Walk a quarter mile to fill a two gallon container.Walk back. Fill up at home price gas.

Get home and find that one of the toilets never shut off.
Knew that the septic tank and leach lines were getting close for an overhaul.
The toilet was the topper. On a sunday no less!

My neighbor was packing up his five teenage daughters+wife and dropping them off at the inlaws were they were all going to Disneyland, while he and his buddies were going fishing somewhere.

As they pulled out (ever see seven people -five teens- in a compact car before? Not a pretty site) he yells out "Have a good day Bill" not knowing how its been so far.
Reply: "You too!"

Think I'll go rent a movie or five.

Thanks Bill... needed a good laugh!
You don't want to know about my Saturday... well OK... OK if you insist... about 6 inches of wet, sloppy and very heavy snow... thought it was only about 4 inches, til I got out there and really looked...

Your neighbour... "5" (five) teenage daughters??    What'd he do... win some sort of gender lottery or something? My Dad went nuts with two!

I understand Bernie...        But "teenage daughters" are a whole different entity... I'm 10 years older than my Sis... she stayed with us for a time when she was 18...

I still haven't regrown all the pulled out hair... the music she liked at the time... awful! Her choice of boyfriends... worse!! *ouch** what a nightmare!!

Thank God she's all growed up now...

One of the worst things (to me anyway) was the time she decided she wanted a bass guitar in the worst way... fine, we knew she was OK to pay us back... BUT I about flipped in the store when the young thing of a guy at the store says... "Oh, so your parents are buying this for you!"

Parents!!! Indeed... she always looked so young, still does, but give me a break... errr... uh yup! I had her when I was 10 years old!

Why yes Dolphin... in fact she does! Very much...

Now don't go gettin' jealous or anything on me, but last night on our CMT channel, which is the so-called Country Music channel... they featured her in concert, mainly songs from her album "Come On Over." Just stumbled on that one myself while thumbing through the TV guide...      I just wish I were still able to hook the TV into the big stereo speakers I used to have.
