This is off topic but sorry. I'm very, very excited.

I'm going to attend Apple WorldWide Developer Again!!!

I will be landing at LA to spend about 1 week there before moving on to San Franciso for WWDC, after WWDC, I will spend few more days in SF and maybe Yosemite before going to NY. I'm going to spend 3 weeks in NY.      

US, here I come!!  Oh boy! I miss San Franciso!!!!      yeah!!

Oh boy, this board is getting more and more personal to me.

Wow, sounds like a great experience.

It seems like someone has recognized your ability, yes?

From your description of the time you will spend in the US, you will be in NYC during what used to be MacWorld. It will probably be the last big Mac oriented conference in NYC. I hope to go this time as traveling to Boston is not worth it.

Maybe I'll see you and other TSers there.

After seeing your picutures of Shanghai, we won't worry about warning you about the crowds of NY!  Have a great time visiting, you'll love it, and your plans have you seeing a goodly amount of the USA.

I was watching 'Phone Booth' movie preview. I found out that there are 20 million people in NY. I'm not sure if it's true but I sure when I'm NY, I will be just a figure.

By the way, is Florida near to NY?

We are about 1/2 hour from Hollywood, while BOB (Blame it on Bernie) is about 5 minutes from an oil refinery. Maybe we can make it a group thing?

Roger , I think the interest one has in visiting somewhere is in direct proportion to the distance one has to travel to get there. Closeness breeds contempt.

Boston is Ok for a short vacation if you have time to take in some of the historical/cultural sites but not just for a convention.

Likewise, NYC is fine for a day trip but that's it for me. Living in the shadow of the city all my life gives one a jaded perspective.

But meeting TSers would make the bus ride worth it.

     

 cm , there are approximately 7+ million people living in NYC itself but the surrounding Tri-State area (New Jersey, Connecticutt and NY suburbs) probably add up to close to 20 million. It's not as bad as it sounds.

   

Oh, and Florida is not close to NY, although some Floridians would say it is way too close. They are about 1200 miles apart.
