Last August 25th my count was 668 (I printed a PDF file of my 50th birthday thread) so even allowing for another 50-60 between August and whenever the changeover was I didn't come out too badly!

I hadn't thought of that. I must have a page or two that I printed laying around...

I don't print them all that often but my 50th birthday banner was such an unexpected thing (I'd forgotten I even had my birthday in my profile) and I was very pleased! I like the PDF printing in OS X and I've bought a little program called PDF995 that is an PDF generator in the form of a printer driver for Windows XP. I've collected a lot of PDF files and I'm in the process of cataloging them onto a structured CD or DVD disk so I can find them when I need them.

Well, I missed out on my 5,000th posting party. That must have happened during the days of uncertainty. The last page I printed was May 6th or 7th and I had a count of 5,885

Most people complaining to be short on Post Count.
But I have too many
May be I have some of the postings that others are missing?

Of course, maybe I'm just delusional
GM, we've been meaning to 'talk' to you about that - this is an entirely separate issue, having absolutely nothing to do w/ your post count...

What is going on. I think I lost even more! It isn't April 1st. I've been pretty good and fairly helpful; what's with this? I want a recount.

Congrats on your 1000th post.
